‘Vail’ is a painting I made from the simple but striking scenery I found in Vail, Colorado. The mix of yellow and blue wildflowers in the mountain light took my breath away. I’m always drawn to the rugged, unfussy, yet totally majestic beauty in the Rocky Mountains.
